had an awesome time! a little disappointed that i got there a wee late (almost the end of gunns' set) but it was still good times. it was nice walking into the place w/ my crew of 5 ladies. i felt like the token gay guy. but i wasn't. so it was cool.
anyway... i thought bukem's set started off a little slow, seemed like he let the tracks play out a little too long, but then he finally picked it up and started spinning some harder rollers halfway into his set... which i liked. it was impossible to understand what conrad was saying. the sound was good, but only if you were in the sweet spot in the middle of the room... go outside the speaker zone and it all sounded echoey... i liked bukem's set last year better, but still enjoyed this one. i also loved having the dnb in the main room guv... my only complaint was getting told by g/l girl that $20 reduced went until 1am, which wasn't the case.
as is usually the case, saw a lot of old heads partying it up proper. i didnt roam as much since i was zoned in on bukem... that's why i wish i was there a wee earlier so i could do my roaming before bukem went on. it's ok everything turned out well...
anyway, much respect to slxn and crew, thanks for bringing bukem back!

and thanks to my awesome awesome entourage! besides feeling like a pimp, it was really cool to finally party w/ some of my closest girlfriends... they helped define my bday week/end as the best one to date...

I thought I should enter my 2 cents here since it's been nearly a week..
I had a fantastic time. The music was not as good as I hoped, but better than I expected. I agree, the sound in any of those Koolhaus/Guv/Orange Room spaces is usually shit at best, but it didn't really hinder my enjoyment. I loved meeting Undie's gorgeous gaggle of gals - they were all extremely cool and totally beautiful. I don't know how you do it, m'man..
Anyway, looking forward to more outings with you guys in the future. And also hearing the long story about how you met. 
Overall, after roughly 10 yrs of wanting to see this guy, he didn't disappoint. My only real negative of the evening was that it was such a sausage party and I didn't appreciate getting hit on so much. Not something I should complain about I guess, but it was kind of a buzzkill getting pawed at like that..
