x jj_4487 Definately not trainers!

(a) went running and my feet are cold and soaked!
(b) have now got no more dry trainers left for running tomorrow (the first pair bit the dust yesterday)!
(c) rolling up your jeans to prevent them getting soaked is a completely arbitary process!

(no, I don't run in jeans, this was crazy no cycling weather so this was the walk for groceries!)

x Jess You can get shoes for running in the snow, but I don't know if UK stores are equipped with them. Personally I sit around and get fat and lazy in winter, so I wouldn't know about them.

I still have my "space boots" from years ago from a company called Skandia. They are so warm and waterproof and have held up quite well in slushy, salty Canadian winters..

x jeffwith1f I think I've gained 10 lbs since I stopped riding in mid Dec.
bring on above 0 degree temps. I need to get back trim!

I wear running shoes out in winter simply for conveinence, and then step carefully. seems to keep them dry.
if I know I am going to be stepping in deep snow and need to keep my feet warm and dry you can't beat a decent pair of waterproof boots.
