x Jess I don't know why there isn't a definitive thread for this yet. I suppose it's because we should be finding a way to do the help section for this site but it never seems to happen so this is the next best thing.

Here are the smilies and UMcodes so that I don't need to search as much for them everytime someone asks

First the smilies --
(remember to type these without spaces)

The standard collection:

: ) = smile
: ( = sad
: lol : = lol
: cool : = cool
: D = grin
: p = tongue
: eek : = eek
: hmm : = hmm
: huh : = huh
: mad : = mad
: no : = no

The porno collection:

: love : = love

The festive collection:

: bday : = birthday
: cheers : = cheers
: evil : = evil
: girlydrink : = girly drink
: nipkin : = nipkin
: star : = star

The miscellaneous collection:

: cookie : = cookie

: bloodshot : = bloodshot

New ones:

: barf : = barf
: bling : = bling
: box : = box
: rockin : = rockin
: rose : = rose
: thumbsup : = thumbs up

x more.. x
x Jess Sea's been busy.. smile

message me (the other way): [ msg=1000 ] message me here [ /msg ]
(tip - you must use your own "phone number" which you can look up on your profile page - or this way you can get people to message others by using their numbers if you know them.)

ex: send a message to Clayboy

google: [ google=search+terms+here ] search text or whatever [ /google ]
(tips - use plus sign instead of spaces - also, punctuation tends to screw things up so avoid using any)

ex: search for universal metropolis

thread (quicker way to link to a thread): [ thread=1 ] text for link [ /thread ]
(tips - you will have to look up the number of the thread at the end of its URL where it says "threadid=___" and enter it where I've used 1 in this example - also, the thread opens in the current window as opposed to most links which open in new ones)

ex: (this thread is #4217) click to reload this thread

stream: [ stream=http://www.your-url-here/stream.mp3 ] Stream artist - Name of stream/song [ /stream ]
(tip - streaming links should have any of these extensions at the end: .asf, .asx, .au, .avi, .cda, .dsm, .far, .it, .lsf, .lsx, .lwv, .m1v, m3u, .mid, .mod, .mov, .mp1, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .mpe, .mpg, .mtm, .pls, .qt, .ram, .snd, .spa, .spl, .stm, .swf, .ult, .voc, .wav, .wm, .wma; however, this isn't a complete list and you will need the proper client installed to open these files.)

ex: Impenetrable Wastebaskets - Yellow Person

x Das Behaelter PHP?

Does this mean I can write inline php script in threads or does it auto-align and leave "ansi" spaces etc, similar to the code tag?

x Universal Sea yes I believe it simply shows php code in various formatting

that would be a neat thing to do, have a list of allowed functions and have users dynamically submit PHP stuff into threads.

x Jess I believe it actually just substitutes the plain old html preformatting tag: < pre >

I forget why we called it php coz you can use it for any sort of code.

x Jess Apparently I neglected the two most common ones, happy (smile) & sad (sad) - I suppose because I took for granted everbody already knows them.

Anyway, list is updated. Sorry for the oversight.
